Warning: Do not read The Best Ten Days of My Life by Adena Halpern if you’re depressed or sad.
The premise of the book is that the protaganist dies in her late 20s and goes to 7th heaven. In order to stay in 7th heaven, however, she has to prove that her life would have otherwise been rich and purposeful had she not died so young by listing the 10 best days of her life.
I’m only at the part where she dies and goes to heaven, but boy…that heaven sounds way too delightful, and how do I say this…way too tempting.
I should probably take a break and think about the best 10 days of my life…so far.
