This is the memoir of comedians and real-life married couple Annabelle Gurwitch and Jeff Kahn, a kind of he-said she-said chronicle of their love story. It’s pretty funny, but it seems like Kahn is more the romantic in the relationship, and Gurwitch so far just seems insane and lucky that some guy has been willing to put up with her antics. To each his own, I guess…looking forward to more cute little anecdotes, and hoping that Annabelle will grow on me more as I go.
Great quotes from this book so far:
“Marriage is the only war in which you sleep with the enemy.”
“Love is the triumph of imagination over intelligence.”
“Marriage: souvenir of love.”
